macOS Terminal _ clear

command: clear

what does it do: clears your entire Terminal window of previous commands. Allows you to clear your mind :0)

example:

crab@computer ~ % pwd

/Users/crab

crab@computer ~ $ ls

Applications	Documents	Library		Music		Public

Desktop		Downloads	Movies		Pictures

crab@computer ~ % clear

Everything above is now gone! those ‘clear’

Location of current folder open in terminal window.

username@computer / % pwd

by default, a new Terminal window opens to

/Users/username

which to normal people is Macintosh HD -> Users -> your account
